We have been vacationing with the larger Coe family since before I was born and the trip has always been a highlight of the summer. Back then, we spent 2 weeks together and with so many kids running around & so much summer fun to be had, we had a ball! However, due to perhaps the increasing amount of injuries, accidents and fairly intense cooking & event planning, at some point the adults agreed to call our time together the "Coe Family Memory Maker" instead of "Coe Family Vay" since at times it wasn't quite a 'vacation' for all! I am certainly grateful our parents stuck it out though and our Memory Maker Vacay is still happening as it is such a gift to have so many cousins - and now cousin-in-laws - as good friends. This was Anabelle's first year and we're hoping she'll be able to enjoy these throughout her childhood as well. She got to meet many of the cousins, Aunts & Uncles for the first time - and the newest addition Joshua Thomas. Thanks to all the family who were able to make it and to those who weren't, know that you were MISSED!
Way too many pics to post, so yes, here you go...

We have a lot of videos as well, but will only post a few. Anabelle continues to love the water and enjoyed the pool immensely. Surprisingly, she loved it most when she was splashed. I would think that would startle a baby, but she thrived on it. In true Burleigh style, we all shared one unit (James, Lauren, Isabel, Peter, Mom, Dad, Anabelle & I). At one point, Peter had been moved from a sound sleep to each of the 4 beds in the unit in a 12 hr. time, so he gets the award for being the most flexible in small living quarters :-) Our niece, Isabel Kate, was the main source of entertainment over the week and she is such a love to Anabelle. She always gives a shrill & happy scream when she sees Anabelle and points to her (usually quite close to Belle's eyeball!) Anabelle has gotten use to this and they're becoming good buddies as seen in the pics.
We missed John, Annie & Lincoln, but can't wait to hear news of our newest nephew entering the world any day now!! Cousins Jesse & William Duke are expecting their first child any day as well and so we've got a lot to look forward to these next few days! We'll keep you posted.
This video shows Anabelle happily enjoying the water & her Maryland crab :-)
And though he wasn't so happy about it, this video shows Uncle Peter entertaining us all with his impressions of a mother eagle feeding her baby.
