The hot topic of convo this past week in the Roberts home has been "Grandpa's coming!" While Oliver Lawrence was quite thrilled to get to see his namesake, Anabelle naturally did most of the vocalizing. "I know. Grandpa's coming in 2 days!" she would say to us before bed... beginning about 6 days ago. Fortunately for us, she still isn't too aware of time and how slowly or quickly it passes =)
And so, '2 days' finally passed and Grandpa came to visit us. What a special treat. Adam ironically had a doctor's appt. this afternoon, so was able to pick Dad Roberts up from the airport and they took on the appt. together and enjoyed some quality time doing those ordinary life things. What a luxury =) Then Adam was off to night school and good ol' Gpa got to spend the eve with the kids & me. No shame in admitting that the kids definitely had a better night all around than if they were just left with me. Thanks Dad Roberts for making the Mundane Monday such a Marvelous Monday!
Anabelle capitalized on Grandpa's willingness to read all the books she could bring him!

Sweet Oliver will certainly continue to look up to his Grandpa for years to come =)
Grandpa knew Anabelle was into PRINCESSES (not sure how that got out, she's so subtle about it, ha) and he brought her a princess pillow! So of course it was party time in the princess tent. (Only thing missing was Grandma -- we were thinking of you!!)
Copying Mom and snapping pics on her very own princess camera

Dad Roberts & I are 'tastebud twins' and so, of course, we had to head out to enjoy some froyo at Menchi's!! Flavor of the night goes to: Cake Batter!
Wish I could say we squeezed in a quick trip to a pumpkin farm, but alas, time was short. Fortunately, there was this harvest-themed decoration set up by our parking space... that'll do just fine!
You can tell 'Mom' wasn't the one the kids were enthralled with that night, ha!

Sidewalk dancing. Now we are having F-U-N!
