She's on a Roll!

So, our little girl is officially a roller now.

Adam & I were cleaning up the kitchen this evening and Anabelle was laying on her playmat for awhile... then we looked up to see her off the mat and halfway across the living room floor.  She was face down, not making a peep, so after panicking and rushing over to make sure she was okay, we picked up our happy, rolly baby!  We know this stage of life was inevitably going to come, but we must say, we feel like it is a bit too soon.  Infact, we purposely haven't been doing all of those 'exercises' parents are encouraged to do with their kids as we decided we wanted to postpone her strong & mobile stage for as long as we could :-)  But alas, here we are. Apparently Anabelle is going to do things on her own timing and she was ready to rock and roll!

She is 3 months old today... and we are a very happy family of 3.  She's still smiling & giggling a lot, which is totally the highlight of our days.  And in the past two weeks she's been 'talking' a lot more (mostly English, but some Aramaic too of course ;->)  No, we obviously cannot understand a word, except for the accidental "hi" and we got an "okay" this weekend.  We've found she's not a big fan of the blender and the car, which is a huge surprise b/c we had heard that was suppose to be a baby's 'happy place'.  She does like the swing, playmat, baby carrier, bouncy seat, crib w/ mobile turning, stroller and pacifier.  And she definitely likes visitors, so stop by when you can!  :-)

And this is the Anabelle we see often... either observing the world with passie in the mouth...

...or sucking on her hands.  I used to think she was still hungry, but I've learned that this child is just fixated on her mouth!  As long as she's able to suck a passie, her hands, or talk & drool, she's happy!
We've added one more seat option to the mix... as of two weeks ago, Anabelle's neck was strong enough to handle the bumbo seat!  (And grandparents, don't worry, we don't leave her on the counter - that was just for the first pic)
It's always hard for me to just let her sleep when she's so cute and cuddly like this :-)

slightly timid about this one
Auntie Janice was on Spring Break and came to give cuddles
Anabelle loves daddy.
And Mommy puts her right at ease... and right to sleep apparently!
